If you've never role-played before, here is a brief explanation on how to do so.
First create your character. Try to make it unique, and try to make sure you add faults as well as good points.
Then read the first post on a thread (explaining the story line) and the most recent posts (if there is 5 or 6 pages, just read the last page.)
Now you play your character. You control ONLY that character. You can't say what somebody else does. You pretend to be that character, example:
Joseph Thunderhead walks into the inn and orders a drink. "I'd like a place to say as well." He adds, laying a gold coin down on the table.
Don't be afraid to just jump in!
